Religious Education
Spirituality
The Religious Education program at St Mary’s is a rich and engaging way for our students to deepen their spirituality.
It involves:-
Making Jesus Real
Making Jesus Real (MJR) is an engaging whole school program which shows how we can be like Jesus each day through our actions. As part of this program we acknowledge and celebrate students whose actions are making Jesus real in our school, eg through their care of others
Sacramental Programs
Faith In Action
Our students are encouraged to put their Catholic faith into action by caring for others through participating in a variety of charitable works. Throughout the year our SRC raise funds to support our Kenyan sponsor child Abadi. Students also fundraise for Caritas and Catholic Missions. Some of the ways in which these charities are supported are by cake stalls, raffles, casual clothing days and Mission days.
